We will not disclose nonpublic personal information about you, except as permitted by law. We are permitted by law to share nonpublic personal information about you to our affiliates and third parties under certain circumstances.
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we shall continue to adhere to the polices and practices described in this notice.
We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to only those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect your nonpublic personal information.

This notice will be distributed to each New Customer after July 1st, 2001 and will be sent annually to all existing customers.
At Valley View Bank, we know how important personal privacy is to you. To confirm our commitment to protecting the privacy of our customers, our bank adopted the following privacy policy.
1. Recognition of Our Customer Expectation of Privacy We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your personal and financial affairs. We understand the need to safeguard the sensitive information about you entrusted to Valley View Bank and its affiliates. We maintain standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of this information. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.
2. Use, Collection, and Retention of Customer Information The Bank will collect, retain and use information about individual customers only, which is useful and necessary for us to operate our business. Our staff members will only access your information when necessary to provide you with a product or service and we will not sell or share individual customer information to an unaffiliated third party for marketing purposes.
3. Maintenance of Accurate Information The Bank has implemented procedures so that each customer’s financial information is accurate, current and complete. We will also correct any inaccurate information in a timely manner upon proper notification.
4. Limiting Employee Access to Information Only those employees with an acceptable business reason are authorized to access personally identifiable customer information. We also educate our employees so that they understand the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. The bank will take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.
5. Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures We will maintain appropriate security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to customer information.
6. Restrictions on Disclosing Information to Outside Parties We do not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our bank for their independent use unless; (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; (3) the information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency; or (4) the disclosure is lawfully required. We do not provide account or personal information to non-affiliated companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies.
7. Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships with Third Parties If personally identifiable customer information is provided to a third party, we will insist that the third party adhere to similar privacy principles that provide for keeping such information confidential
Valley View Bank’s "Customer Privacy Policy" does not apply to email. The email customer service provided by the bank is not through a secure transmission. For your protection, please do not send any personal information (i.e. Social Security Number, account number, date of birth, etc.) via email. Valley View Bank will not be held liable for any possible misuse of information sent by email.
