• The highest available rate is paid on balances over $2,500 and a slightly lower rate is paid on balances $2,500 and below

If your minimum balance falls below $750 and your average collected balance falls below $2,000, Or more than 20 items are deposited to the account in any statement period, fees will be applied to your account. These fees include: $6.00 monthly maintenance fee as well as $0.07 cents for each item deposited and $0.15 cents per check written against the account during that statement period.

Money Market Checking

• Transfers from a Money Market account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, or internet/telephone transfer are limited to six per month with no more than three by debit card or similar order to third parties.
• Unlimited number of withdrawals in person, by mail or by ATM are allowed
• You can make deposits, withdrawals and transfers, just as you would with any interest-bearing account
• No minimum transaction amount

A minimum deposit of $1,000 is required to open this account and the rate is based on the following tiers: $0-1,000; $1,000-9,999; $10,000-24,999; $25,000-99,999; $100,000 and over. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Effective January 1, 2006: If your minimum balance falls below $1,000 a $6.00 fee will be applied to your account.

To qualify for Golden Security Society membership, you must be 55 or older and have $500 or more in a Valley View Bank Savings Account, Money Market Account, or a CD.
