Lock Box Service
Our Lock Box service is a great tool for keeping your revenues safe and secure, as well as increasing your cash flow. Valley View bank’s experienced personnel can take over some of the tedious bookkeeping chores, leaving you more time to build your business.
You direct your customers to send their payments to a Post Office Box controlled by the bank
Our bonded bank messenger picks up the mail and then bank personnel:
- Record payments
- Endorse the checks
- Prepare the deposit
- Send you the receipt (along with any statements or customer correspondence)
In addition:
- Copies of all checks deposited are also sent to you
- Funds are available more quickly and more dependably
- There’s no need to hire, train and supervise your own people to handle this sensitive task
Valley View Bank’s nominal fee for the Lock Box services are listed below:
- Monthly maintenance fee $100.00
- Per check deposited to account .30
- Per check written against the account .15
- Per deposit .15
- Earnings Credit: 90% of the 13 week Treasury Bill rate
- Based on average collected balance per $100
(Earnings credit applies only to Regular Business Checking Accts.)
Certificates of Deposit

Valley View Bank offers businesses a credit card with no annual fee and many other additional benefits. Choose from a regular MasterCard/Visa card or a Gold MasterCard/Visa card. We offer rapid turnaround, complete accuracy and security, plus the advantage of simplified direct deposit for your employees. Fees are based on volume.
